Process flow of galvanized malleable steel pipe fittings

1. Preparation:

This includes cleaning the metal surface to remove impurities such as grease, dirt and oxides to ensure that the metal surface is clean.

2. Pre-treatment:

Pretreatment steps may include degreasing, pickling, alkali washing, etc., to further clean the metal surface and remove the oxide

layer to improve the adhesion of the coating.

3. Electrolyte preparation:

Select the appropriate electrolyte, which contains metal ions and other additives, to control the properties and appearance of the

coating.

4. Electrolytic cell setup:

Using the metal as the cathode and the coated metal as the anode, they are placed in an electrolytic cell and electroplated by

current conduction.

5. Plating process:

By applying an electric current, metal ions are reduced on the cathode surface to form a metal coating. Parameters such as plating

time and current density need to be controlled according to specific requirements.

6. Post-processing:

After electroplating is complete, post-treatment steps such as cleaning, neutralization, drying, etc. may be required to remove

residual electrolyte and other impurities.
